Party unveils five missions to restore pride in Britain

"Join Labour and help us win these elections," urges Keir Starmer

The Labour Party has launched its campaign for the local elections on 2 May, pledging to restore pride in Britain.

The party has unveiled five missions to achieve this, including:

  • A cost of living crisis plan to tackle soaring bills and inflation
  • A plan to get more public services back under local democratic control
  • A plan to rebuild the economy and create jobs
  • A plan to tackle the climate crisis
  • A plan to fix the loopholes in the immigration system and create a fair system that works for everyone

"These elections are a chance for us to show the country that Labour is back and that we are ready to govern," said Labour leader Keir Starmer.

"We have a plan to restore pride in Britain and to build a fairer, more prosperous society for all."

The Labour Party is urging people to join the party and help them win the local elections.

"Together, we can create a better future for Britain," said Starmer.
