The 2023-24 FA Cup qualifying rounds will open the 143rd edition of the FA Cup, the world's oldest association football competition. The FA Cup is the first domestic competition to get underway in the 2023-24 season.

Updates for 2024-25

The Emirates FA Cup format has been updated for the 2024-25 season. The most notable change is the addition of a new round, the preliminary round, which will be played by teams from Steps 5 and 6 of the English football pyramid. This will increase the number of teams involved in the competition to 736, from 728 in the 2023-24 season.
